Wish Tree for Washington, DC

Every summer, Yoko Ono’s Wish Tree for Washington, DC (2007) opens to the public at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. Visitors are invited to write their wishes on paper tags and tie them to the branches of the Wish Tree. This year, the Wish Tree has gone virtual, allowing the global community to post their wishes to Instagram using #WishTreeDC.
